High Purity SIGRAFLEX® Graphite Foil by SGL Carbon
High quality foil made of pressed expanded natural graphite, suitable for a variety of applications

  • Thickness: 0.5 mm
  • Carbon content: min. 99.85%
  • Size: freely selectable, from 10 cm up to 5 m
  • Lower density of 0.7 g/cm³

Chemical properties
  • High temperature resistance (-250°C to approx. 3000°C)
  • Excellent sealing properties; low permeability to gases and liquids
  • Long-term stable compression and springback behavior
  • Resistance to aging and no embrittlement as it is free of binders
  • High resistance to chemical media and radiation
  • More flexible because of lower density

  • Ash < 0,15%
  • Sulfur < 300 ppm
  • Chloride < 10 ppm
  • Halogens < 40 ppm
